Recording of much-awaited Joseph Haydn's piano concertos by the Viennese pianist, Roland Batik, who gracefully plays both classic and jazz music. Batik is Friedrich Gulda's protégé and has already been highly acclaimed for Haydn's complete piano sonatas. In the piano concertos, recorded in the year 2009, which marks the 200th anniversary of Joseph Haydn's death, Batik delivers free and fresh performance. Led by Khadem-Missagh, the competent chamber orchestra Academia Allegro Vivo supports Batik and his refreshing performance reflects a new image of Haydn.
