The maestro Tadaaki Otaka, who has become an integral being as a conductor bracing up teh Japanese music world, recorded 'From the New World' with fresh energy in younger age. At the time of the recording, Otaka was in his 20's. Shortly after having been appointed the permanent conductor at the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, he bruoght out the orchestra's outstanding performance with his authentic interpretation and gifted conducting. The album brings out a heart-warming tour de force right in front of our eyes, asif to foretell the close, longstanding, and trusting relationship between them. A monumental recording, or a milestone, for Japanese orchestra's future development.
